How to Become a Capper on Cashify

If you've been thinking about monetizing your picks, building a community, or turning what you already know into a real income stream, this is the walkthrough you need. Getting set up on Cashify is straightforward, and the whole process can be done in one sitting. Here's exactly what to expect.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Everything starts at cashify.co/signup. You'll accept the Terms of Service first, then verify your email with a one-time code we send you. Alternatively you can sign up through Discord or Google to get in even faster. Worth a read — it covers the important stuff around how the platform works and what's expected on both sides.

Step 2: Start Your Capper Onboarding

After your account is created, head to cashify.co/onboarding to set up your capper profile. This is a short multi-step flow that covers:

Your business details — Pick a business name (between 5 and 40 characters), choose up to 5 sports you cover, and select your areas of expertise. Keep it focused on what you actually know.

Your location — We currently support cappers based in the US and Canada. You'll also accept the Capper Usage Agreement at this step before moving forward.

Stripe Connect — This is how you get paid. Cashify uses Stripe to handle all payments and payouts, so you'll go through Stripe's onboarding to verify your identity and connect your bank account. You'll need to be at least 18 and provide your SSN or TIN for tax purposes. Stripe handles all of that securely on their end.

Connect your community — Link at least one of Discord or Telegram. This is where your members will actually receive access to your content. You're not starting from scratch here either — if you already have a server or group, Cashify just plugs into it. No migration, no rebuilding anything.

Once Stripe is set up and verified, you'll land in your dashboard and can start building out your store.

Step 3: Set Up Your Products

From your dashboard you'll set up everything members see when they visit your page — your logo, cover image, store URL, and FAQs. Then you'll create your products.

A few things to know about how products and pricing work:

Recurring plans have a minimum of $5.00. One-time plans are flexible. You can offer free products or free trials if you want to give people a taste before they commit.

Subscription periods can range from a single day all the way up to a year, and they auto-renew until a member cancels. You can adjust your pricing at any time without affecting existing subscribers — anyone already subscribed keeps their rate until they cancel or you make a change on your end.

For each product you'll also configure which Discord roles or Telegram groups members get access to when they subscribe. That's the link between someone paying and actually getting through the door.

Step 4: Apply for Marketplace Approval

Before your page goes live, you'll go through a quick marketplace approval process from your dashboard. This just makes sure everything is in order — your Stripe is verified, your profile is complete, you have at least one product set up with pricing and access configured, and your Discord or Telegram is connected.

You'll need to hit roughly 80% of the checklist to apply. After you submit, your status will show as Pending while it's under review. If anything needs to be adjusted you'll get a reason and can fix it and reapply.

How Payouts Work

Every transaction goes through Stripe, and your earnings land in your connected account after fees. The fee structure is simple:

Stripe takes 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Cashify takes 3%. So all in, you're looking at 5.9% + $0.30 per transaction, with no separate marketplace or monthly fees on top of that. Full details are on the fees page.

Standard payouts typically hit within 2 business days for US-based cappers. If you want your money faster, instant payouts are available at a 4% fee — capped at $2,000 USD or $2,500 CAD per payout — depending on your Stripe eligibility.

You manage everything — withdrawals, payout method, bank accounts — from the Payouts section of your dashboard.

One thing to keep in mind: Cashify may place a hold on payouts in situations like suspected fraud, a high rate of disputes, or an active investigation. If that ever happens, you'll be notified by email.

A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Start

Your content is entertainment and information only — not financial or gambling advice, and no guaranteed results. You're responsible for making sure your community understands that. It's standard stuff, but it matters.

Taxes are on you. Cashify will issue 1099 forms where required, but reporting and paying what you owe is your responsibility.

If a subscriber disputes a charge, there's a $15 fee from Stripe that's non-refundable regardless of the outcome. Keeping your members happy and your service clearly communicated is the best way to avoid those.

The whole onboarding process is designed to be done in one sitting. If you've got your community platform connected and your bank info handy for Stripe, there's nothing stopping you from being live by the end of the day.
